Day 1 – Haridwar – Govindghat via Joshimath and Devaprayag (Drive 260km/ 10hrs)

  • Uphill Drive, Joshimath, Devaprayag

  • Around 6am, assemble at Haridwar Railway Station. Begin a long distance, uphill drive from Haridwar to Govindghat. Along the way, pass Devaprayag to witness the holy confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers to form the River Ganges. Arrive at Joshimath, a midpoint for other religious pilgrimage locations. You could stay over here or proceed to Govindghat in lieu of time for the halt.

  • Day 2 – Trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria (Trek 14km/ 4hrs)

    Today begins Valley Of Flowers Trekking in Uttaranchal with a short 14km gradual ascent trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria. Arrive at Ghangaria. Hotel check-in or camp out. Explore the surrounding. Have dinner and call-it-a-day.

  • Day 3 – Trek from Ghangaria to Valley Of Flowers and back (Trek 5km, one-way/ 5hrs)

    This day marks the very reason for your entire high altitude Valley Of Flowers trek. Start your day with a wholesome breakfast. Scale a height of 3,858m to arrive at the Valley Of Flowers. This sight is a feast to the eyes and treat for the soul.

    Admire one of nature’s finest creations as you are left speechless witnessing an array of thousands of flowers in full bloom. The myriad palette with a multitude of colour shades rests against the watchful eyes of the mighty Himalayas. Creating an alluring canvas, the valley has several streams casually meandering through it. The wild flora creates a rich eco-system for many species of birds, butterflies, and insects too. Several soulful moments later begin your return trek to Ghangaria. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/ camp.

  • Day 4 – Trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib (4,329m)

    Today after breakfast, you’ll follow a steep trail to Hemkund Sahib to visit the religious site where Guru Gobind Singh is said to have meditated in a previous life. Surrounded by seven snow-capped mountains this place is no doubt soothing and calming. Spend time here. And after lunch, start a late afternoon trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/ camp.

  • Day 5 – Trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat and drive to Joshimath

    After breakfast, take the same trek route from Ghangaria to Govindghat. From Govindghat, drive to Joshimath. If you desire, you can tour Auli in the evening. Overnight stay at Joshimath.

  • Day 6 – End of  Valley Of Flowers Trekking journey. Drive from Joshimath to Haridwar

    Leave Joshimath early for your return journey home from Haridwar. Take back a mosaic of unbelievable memories with you.

 

Inclusions:

  • Accommodation during the trek (camping  ie from Day 2 till Day 5)
  • Four times  meals a day – (all meals during the trek)
  • Trekking permits and forest camping charges
  • Services of an expert trek leader
  • Services of an expert trek team  (guides, cooks, helpers)

Exclusions:

  • Transport to and from the base camp (Haridwar  to Govindghat and return)
  • Accomodation and Dinner for Day 1
  • Food during transit is not included (to and from the base camp)
  • Backpack offloading charges – .Charges are additional for offloading last minute, on slope. The backpack cannot weigh more than 9 kgs. No suitcases/strolleys/duffel bags will be allowed.
  • Personal expenses of any kind
  • Anything apart from the inclusions.

Terms & Conditions

 

Backpack carrying: We expect all trekkers to carry their own backpacks

ON SPOT OFFLOADING If for some reason a trekker is unable to carry his or her backpack, while on the trek  then he/she can offload the same by paying an additional charge. as per charged by the porter to be hired on spot.Partial offloading is not allowed. Charges will vary for last minute te on slope offloadingfrom each of the trekkers.The backpack cannot weigh more than 9 kgs. No suitcases/strolleys/duffel bags will be allowed.

 Fitness: A high altitude trek in the Himalayas requires considerable fitness.

Payment: Payment for the trek can be done online throughcredit/debit card or net banking. Cheque/draft or cash is not accepted. Payment can be done only after you have received an email confirming your position on the trek. An email containing an account number that allows you to make the payment online will be sent to you within 12 hours of your confirmation

For any climatic changes or  unavoidable circumstances a buffer day may be provided. A minimal on spot fee would be collected

The transport is arranged in shared cabs. Transport from HARIDWAR to GOVINDGHAT and return from GOVINDGHAT to HARIDWAR can be arranged by us at an extra cost .Participants are expected to share the cost likewise.. We only arrange the vehicle pick up and drop.Hence we are not responsible for any issues during transport.
Drop out during trek: If for any reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then we will  make arrangements for his/her return to the nearest road head. A staff will accompany the participant to the nearest road head.

 Non-liability: We are not responsible for any loss/damage of your gears/equipment or other belongings on the trek.


Drinking alchohol or any form of intoxication during the trek is strictly prohibited. If found flouting the rules, your participation on the trek will be cancelled with immediate effect.

Documents required:

  • 2 photocopy of photo id proof (Voter Icard, Passport, Adhaar card) .Carry the original ID while coming for the trek
  •   2 copy  pass port size photographThe cancellation charges are as under: CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Cancellation before  20days to the start of the trek  – 75 % refund
  • Cancellation between 20days – 10days to the start of the trek —50% refund
  • Cancellation between 10days – 3days to the start of the trek – 25%refund
  • Cancellation less than 3 days to the start of the trek — no refund.
